About Robert Terrazas

Robert Terrazas (Bob) started Terrazas Henkel, P.C., in April 1994. Mr. Terrazas obtained his J.D. from Santa Clara University and worked within the United States Supreme Court until 1981. He served as a deputy county attorney in Missoula County beginning in November 1980, handling child abuse and neglect cases primarily, and migrated to becoming a full-time crime prosecutor in 1984. Mr. Terrazas has performed all kinds of trial work including personal injury, employment, civil defense, discrimination and harassment, real estate, commercial, homicides, sexual intercourse without consent, divorces, custody, and several criminal defense cases. He stopped counting the number of his trials after he reached 100.

Mr. Terrazas is active in the Missoula community.  He is a past president of the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce and has served on the boards and as an officer of several organizations, including Missoula Art Museum, Destination Missoula and Missoula’s Tourism Business Improvement District, Head Start, Elks, and Kiwanis. Additionally, he served as chair for both Leadership Missoula and Leadership High School Missoula. Mr. Terrazas is an annual donor and contributor to Missoula County 4H.

Mr. Terrazas’s practice includes helping individuals, families, and businesses in legal matters that might take them into court, before government agencies, or negotiating resolution of a variety of legal and quasi-legal matters. His general trial work includes personal and bodily injury, family issues, employment issues, estate, probate and trust issues, contract and commercial issues, and real estate including rights of way, condemnation, and boundary disputes.
